The Opportunity
We are looking for a detail-oriented and strategically minded Finance Manager. The Finance Manager's core responsibilities include preparing monthly financial statements and Board package, day-to-day accounting, and overseeing AR and AP. As a Finance Manager, you will also be responsible for managing the audit and tax relationships and leading parts of the FP&A process, including annual budgeting.

To be successful as a Finance Manager, you should have strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills and be able to present financial information and models in a concise and easily comprehensible manner.


What You'll Do
  • Monthly financial and board reporting
  • Day-to-day bookkeeping
  • Manage AP and AR process
  • Periodic local and state tax filings and remittances
  • Lead auditor and tax relationships
  • Support budgeting process and FP&A reporting tasks
  • Manage inhouse and outsourced accountants, as needed
  • Limited treasury functions
  • Maintain employee commission records
  • Research technical accounting matters
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of direct experience and total accounting experience of 4-6 years
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
  • Certified Public Accountant
  • Experience at a VC or PE-backed company
  • Highly proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Netsuite and Bill.com
  • Experience with financial reporting of multiple subsidiaries with multiple business units
  • Experience with AR and AP process
  • Ability to present financial information to a non-financial audience
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Detail-oriented and able to perform in a high-pressure environment
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Location:
  • This is a hybrid role based out of our Midtown East (NYC) office at least 4 days a week.


This position offers a base salary range of $115,000 - $145,000, along with the opportunity to earn a discretionary target bonus of 15% - 25% and stock options grants. When determining your overall compensation package, we will consider your specific skills, relevant experience, and geographic location.
